Evil Kittens

I glazed my evil kitten bowl it looks nice. I also fired the skull to bisque, I might leave it at that Went diving yesterday and brought back these urchin shells, they are nice. The sort of thing a ceramicist would like. Was joined by a dolphin for a half hour while diving he came right up and held his eye up aginst my mask and stared into my eye,quite weird

Made a top for the skull. The little fellow on the top is the irrational little monster that makes you do all those dumb things that seemed like such a good idea at the time. I also underglazed the evil kitten bowl

I made a skull from clay. being a dentist and understanding anatomy was handy, knowing the shape of the individual bones , how they fit and buttress each other Went painting with Jim and Monika in Peoples park this morning. I painted a victorian water fountain I like it

home alone

Unusually i'm alone in the house tonight. Only my two evil kittens and Hero the silly dog for company, board, I made a pot and somehow the 2 kittens and dog ended up in it. just come back from 5 days going up river in my boat. I did apainting at dawn each morning, except the last when I was a bit hungover

Back to ceramics

Somebody has kindly given me use of their studio so I have made ,bisque fired and underglazed two jugs. I wiil probably glave them when I can work out how to do it. Can they be glazed on the same1000c program i used to bisque fire them? I painted another picture of my poor old dog, Chip

Havent done my blog for a month but i am painting as a break from the ceramics . the first is my poor old dog she lies in the sun and looks as if she is fading into the clay she came from the rest are painted around my garden,limerick city and on my hols in france as an exercise they are all done with 3 colours , cyan ,magnenta and process yellow (and white)
