FEMALE FIGURE

Today I made a small clay figure of a pregnent girl, I'll probably use it for the Magdline laundry stuff a I also canoed out to Bushy Island on Lough Derg to photo the eagles, I might do a lino cut

Good sheperd convent / pinch pots

I've just learnt how to use pinch pots to make light figures. It's a very clever teccnique, using the air pressure in side as a sort of internal hand to push out and help shape the pece. I've made another version of yesterdays 3 pieces, I much prefer todays version I'm recently back from Berlin and ths piece has echos of the rather grim art they enjoy over there
