Busy day 2

Bought a book at imma about an artist called Janaina Tschape. She is German/ Brazillian and does body extensions , turning herself into squid or fungus type creatures . she also paints . I really like her stuff Finally bought a glass dome for my school memorial trophy

Busy day in Dublin

snowy drive to Dublin.Went to Analysing Cubism at imma. Mainie Jellett, Evie Hone , Nora mc Guiness, May Swanzy and May Guiness , remarkable that Ireland produced such advanced artists back in the 1920's and all women what were the men doing! Took lots photos but a nasty man caught me, said it wasn;t allowed and made me delate most of them!!!!He then followed me around for the rest of our visit. So i annoyed him by getting to close to the pictures. Went to a nice shop called Article saw some nice ceramics

Trophy Finished

I finished this. The figures look very lifelike. Unsettelingly so.I might make myself a lifesize version of the girl, I would never need to be lonley agian. It's ment to look a bit Baroque. The Spanish used to this sort of thing very well, polychrome wood martyrs with rolling eyes !
