I seem to be a bit obsessed with the pets at the moment. So I've done a pet pieta
It's only a joke but by copying michelangelo s pieta, I've learnt it. I know in my version the hands and feet are placed a little differently but I'll remember forever where he placed his and the exact drape of the body. I've learnt an awfull lot from this little exercise, imagine how much I could have learnt if my art education had been an old style one with months and even years copying old masters and plaster casts, but I suppose it was a differant kind of art then
