I,ve bisque fired and under glazed the pet god candelabra. I,ll probably glaze it tomorro I've glazed the self portrait. I want to use it with the skull

Pet Gods

I suppose if the pets had religion we would be their gods, so i gave a baby human to the bird woman to offer to the others as a god

Candelabra

I'm making a 3 candle candle stick, dont know whats about, animal religion I think, don't really think animals have religion ,but my pets love me and thats a complex emotion

Bird woman

I made a bird-woman creature tonight. She is small, the size of my hand and a bit delicate i dont know if she will hold together while drying nevermind firing!

Skull

I took the decorated and glazed skull out of the klin, I really like it met Frank at the railway station in Limerick to do a bit of painting

Pet Pieta

I seem to be a bit obsessed with the pets at the moment. So I've done a pet pieta It's only a joke but by copying michelangelo s pieta, I've learnt it. I know in my version the hands and feet are placed a little differently but I'll remember forever where he placed his and the exact drape of the body. I've learnt an awfull lot from this little exercise, imagine how much I could have learnt if my art education had been an old style one with months and even years copying old masters and plaster casts, but I suppose it was a differant kind of art then
