I brought a little plastic Jesus today, I made him a fat twin out of plasticine. I wonder if jesus was short, fat and bald on top would people would have taken him seriously , maybe they would maybe fat was good then . Maybe he
was short ,fat and balding . Certainly he only became fairly fixed in art as bearded and long haired by the byzantines in the 7th c.
The little figure is also an exercise in modeling the figure for me , he's only @ 10cm high but looks quite lifelike his expression even has some dignity. He took me @ half hour to make I'm quite proud of him .He can go off now and do miricals and win disciples in the toy box .,Go Jesus
